  • We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. If you have any questions, please reach out to us!

  • We love your little ones, but unfortunately our wedding weekend is filled with fun and festivities for adults only. We hope you understand and can still join us on our special day!

  • There are various options for getting to the airport from the hotel, including:

    • official airport taxis (fixed rates, purchase ticket at authorized counters before exiting)

    • pre-booked private transfers

    • ride-sharing apps like Uber (widely used and convenient once in the city)

Avoid unofficial taxis. Many hotels also offer shuttle services, so check with your accommodation.

  • For all events, shuttle transportation will be provided from our recommended hotel to all events and festivities.

  • Wearing Indian clothes is absolutely not required. We want you to feel comfortable and feel like yourself! And you definitely won't look out of place — mixing up East and West (Indian and American) is very common.

The traditional bridal color for Indian weddings is red. Please avoid an all-red outfit at the ceremony, and avoid an all-white outfit at the reception. Otherwise, wear whichever on-theme colors speak to you!

Below is a Pinterest we created to help give you an idea of what you can wear (please feel free to ask us if you have any questions, though!):

Below are links to some online stores where you can shop for Indian clothes:

    House of Indya
    Lashkaraa
    Studio Iris
    Mann Sey
    Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop
    Diwan Saheb
    Kasbah

  • Think pastels- soft or light pinks, yellows, blues, greens, tan, purples, etc. If you aren’t sure, feel free to reach out to us!

  • Most tourists (including U.S. and many other nationalities) do NOT need a visa for stays under 180 days. You will receive a tourist card (FMM) upon arrival or via the airline.

A valid passport will be required (must be valid for your entire stay).

Proof of onward travel may be requested.

  • We kindly ask that you refrain from using phones or cameras during the ceremony.

  • The weather is pleasant and mild during the dry season. Daytime highs usually fall around around 72 - 76°F with evenings and early mornings being cooler (around 45 - 55°F), so layers are essential. There is a low chance of rain.

  • Like any major city, use common sense: stick to well-populated tourist areas, use reputable transportation, avoid flashing valuables, and don’t walk alone late at night in unfamiliar neighborhoods. We’ll provide more specific safety tips closer to the date.

  • Please RSVP with any dietary requirements (e.g., vegetarian, gluten-free, allergies) or mobility needs. We’ll accommodate as best as possible.

  • Email us at srsowedding@gmail.com or our Planning team (info@anaisevents.com, reference Soumya-Stephen wedding).
